You have to admit that times are tough right now, with a slump in the economy and inflation climbing to the roof. There are a lot of families that are struggling right now, making it difficult to meet their monthly budgets. Memorial Day is coming, and it’s the “official” start of the summer season. That means camping. It’s a given fact that being overweight is a health risk. Ask any doctor. Obesity is a major contributor to problems such as high blood pressure (hypertension), heart disease, and diabetes. Face it – the human body is not meant to carry excessive weight as part of its being.

Mother’s Day is coming up on May 13, and sometimes kids don’t know how to win Mom’s heart all over again. But help is here! There are a few things that even the youngest of children can do, given their ages and abilities.
Moms always love some personal attention. Given the age of the child, they can make Mom a homemade gift, like coloring a special picture or (with some help) a collage of pictures that are either home drawn or from photos that mean a lot to her. (more…)
